You will be in charge of growing the accounting department of our Spanish product, empowering entrepreneurs and freelancers of the digital age to launch and run their businesses online with us. Experience ✍
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping and submission of reports for freelancers: at least 2 years.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
Fluency in the Spanish language.
Fluency in the English language.
Responsibilities
Accounting operations, including VAT and VIES reports, Social Taxes, Statistics, and OSS/IOSS reports.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, summarize current financial status by collecting information;
Prepare balance sheets, profit, loss statements, and other related reports.
Assist with billing questions regarding indirect tax or other related subjects
Review the accountancy reports and declarations done by the accountancy department and audit process cooperation.
Support accounting month-close process and audits
Support the finance team with additional tasks and work on accounting projects as assigned
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Obtaining a VAT number for companies in the tax office and registering companies in a particular OSS and IOSS scheme.
Submit statistical reports to Estonian bank and Statistics Estonia.
